The Chelsea Bar

PROJECT VALUE: $300,000
Tucked away in the back of a laneway behind red velvet
curtain, is the very private Chelsea Bar. With seating
limited to 25 patrons, the aim of the space was to create
a moody atmospheric bar reminiscent of an olde world
Speakeasy. The original brick walls have been exposed
and ship-lap cladding painted a dark moody red and
gray. The new build bar has been has elaborate detail
and embellishments and distressed to look antique.
Black and white “speakeasy” images in gold gilded
frames line the walls and add a sense of history and
intrigue.
